On June 23th 2019, the Joint Venture between Bamboo Capital Group (BCG) – Copper Mountain Energy (CME) and Viet Nam-Oman Investment Fund (VOI) held an inauguration ceremony for the BCG – CME Long An 1 solar plant in Thanh An commune, Thanh Hoa distric, with an installed capicity of 40.6MWp:

The ceremony had the presence of Mr. Truong Tan Sang – Former President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc – Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Pham Van Canh – Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee. After 9 months of construction, the plant officially went into commercial exploitation on schedule. 40.6MWp BCG-CME Long An 1 solar power plant was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, built on an area of 50.2ha, invested by BCG Bang Duong Energy Joint Stock Company (a member of Bamboo Capital Group) with a total investment of 42 million USD.
